I recently had the joy of doing a lifestyle and product photography session for baby and children’s clothing with Jungle Jams. — a mom-owned, mom-run brand that creates cozy, hand-drawn print pajamas and blankets designed to make bedtime fun.
About Jungle Jams
Jungle Jams creates cozy, hand-drawn jungle print pajamas and blankets. What started as an idea for her own children has grown into a full collection featuring unique jungle animals you probably won’t find anywhere else.
Creating a Commercial Photoshoot for Kids’ Apparel
For this photoshoot, I worked with three child models ranging from baby to tween to showcase Jungle Jams’ pajama sizes and blanket. Every piece featured their Kiwi bird print, and the session was designed to highlight both the playful lifestyle aspect and the product details of the clothing.
I styled the shoot across a variety of settings:
A clean, off-white backdrop roll for polished commercial shots
A cozy bedroom scene for lifestyle imagery
A blank wall and oversized chair for relaxed, natural looks
Flatlay shots to showcase the pajama details and blanket design
Adding in natural wood toys for props gave the photos an organic, warm touch that paired beautifully with the brand’s kid-friendly aesthetic.
Playtime in Pajamas
The kids loved modeling the pajamas — the baby was all smiles in the one-piece zip-up, while the older two had fun in their two-piece sets (complete with a little bed-jumping). Their soft, stretchy fabric made it easy to capture authentic, playful moments that truly reflect the brand.
